Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Lofexidine Hydrochloride
Lofexidine Hydrochloride falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Guggul interacts with.
In vitro research shows that guggul constituents known as guggulsterones can induce CYP3A4.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the basic idea with guggul and lofexidine (Lucemyra). Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to break down lofexidine. Lab studies suggest the active parts of guggul, the guggulsterones, may rev up that enzyme. If that happens in real life, your body could clear lofexidine a little faster, which might make it work less well at easing opioid withdrawal symptoms like nausea, stomach cramps, muscle aches, restlessness, and trouble sleeping.
I'll be honest, this is mostly a theoretical concern based on test-tube research, not solid human studies, so I wouldn't panic over it. Still, lofexidine is used during a tough stretch when you want it working its best. Before adding guggul, run it by your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on how you're doing.

By severity: 3 major · 95 moderate · 41 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Lofexidine Hydrochloride page
“Grapefruit is the supplement risk I would flag first for anyone taking lofexidine (Lucemyra) for opioid withdrawal. It blocks the enzyme (CYP3A4) that clears lofexidine, and higher levels can deepen the low blood pressure and drowsiness this drug already causes.”
