Korean Pine and Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide and Korean Pine in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

How we checked

Why No Interaction Is Listed for Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide

Interactions in our licensed database are recorded against drug classes, not just single drug names. Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide is filed under 9 classifications — including antacids, aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaids). Korean Pine has documented interactions with 1 drug class — the most serious being antihypertensive drugs (moderate) — and none of Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide’s classifications are among them.

Classification data comes from our licensed Natural Medicines dataset. A medication can belong to classes beyond those recorded there, so this describes how the check was run — it is not a safety guarantee.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide page

“Ascriptin combines aspirin with two antacids, aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, and the aspirin part already thins the blood on its own. That is why more than 200 of the 255 ingredients listed here can raise bleeding risk, and why this page deserves a careful read rather than a quick skim.”

About Korean Pine

What is Korean Pine?

  • Appetite control and weight management
  • Heart and cholesterol health
  • General nutrition and energy
  • Skin and antioxidant support
  • Cough and respiratory comfort (traditional)

Korean Pine is best known as the source of edible pine nuts and pine nut oil, which are nutritious foods rich in healthy fats. While some early research looks at pine nut oil for appetite and cholesterol, strong human evidence for any specific health benefit is limited. Treat it mainly as a food, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before using concentrated extracts.

Pinus koraiensis · Pinaceae · Seeds (pine nuts), seed oil, nuts, bark, and needles · Pine nuts (food), pine nut oil (capsules or liquid), needle tea, extracts

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Korean Pine is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Korean Pine record says about it on its own.

Korean Pine: dosing

There is no established standard medicinal dose for Korean Pine or pine nut oil. As a food, pine nuts are simply eaten in normal amounts as part of meals. For pine nut oil capsules or extracts, follow the directions on the product label, since strength varies between products.

About Aspirin

What Is Aspirin Used For?

Brand name: Ascriptin

Aspirin is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains from headaches, backaches, muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, the common cold, and minor arthritis pain. It also temporarily reduces fever.

Some coated aspirin tablet products note that, under a doctor's supervision, aspirin can help prevent another heart attack or stroke in adults who have already had one. Because of their delayed-release design, those coated products will not give fast relief for headaches or other symptoms needing quick relief.
