Here's the gist: streptokinase is a powerful clot-busting drug given in the hospital for things like a heart attack, a major blood clot in the lung, or a clogged catheter. It works by breaking down clots, so bleeding is already the main thing doctors watch for while it's running.

Kudzu's isoflavones are thought to make platelets a little less sticky, which in theory could add to that bleeding risk. I want to be honest, though: this is a theoretical concern based on how the compounds behave, not from real cases in people. Since streptokinase is only given under close medical supervision, the team is already monitoring you carefully. Still, tell your doctor or pharmacist about any kudzu you take so it's on their radar.
