Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Bosentan
Bosentan falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Lemongrass interacts with.
Animal research shows that lemongrass and its constituent citral inhibit CYP3A4.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the basic idea: your body uses a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to help clear bosentan (Tracleer). Lemongrass — really its citral content — has been shown in lab and animal studies to slow that enzyme down. If it slowed it in people too, bosentan could build up a bit more than usual, which might mean more of its typical side effects, like headache, flushing, swelling in the legs or ankles, low blood pressure, or feeling tired. Bosentan can also affect liver function, so that's worth keeping an eye on.
The reassuring part: this is only a theoretical concern based on test-tube and animal data, not human studies. A little lemongrass in cooking or an occasional cup of tea is unlikely to matter. Concentrated supplements or the essential oil are a different story — so check with your pharmacist or doctor before using those.

Bosentan Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Bosentan as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Lemongrass — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
