Lingonberry + Dextroamphetamine
Dextroamphetamine brand name: Dexedrine.
We found no known interaction between Lingonberry and Dextroamphetamine in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first. Additionally, although there is no interaction, the two are separately associated with some of the same side effects, which would make a new symptom harder to attribute to one or the other.
Lingonberry and Dextroamphetamine
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Dextroamphetamine and Lingonberry in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Lingonberry at all — not against Dextroamphetamine, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

See Every Supplement That Interacts With Dextroamphetamine
This page covers Lingonberry only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Dextroamphetamine page lists 129 supplements it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.
The most serious there right now: Activated Charcoal (major), Ephedra (major), Lithium (major), Peyote (major) and Rauvolfia Vomitoria (major).
By severity: 6 major · 100 moderate · 23 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Dextroamphetamine page
“Dextroamphetamine (Dexedrine) is a stimulant for ADHD and narcolepsy, and I read this list with genuine wariness. Six of the 129 ingredients rate major, most of them because other stimulants, ephedra being the clearest, pile extra heart rate and blood pressure on top of what the drug already produces.”

- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Lingonberry
What is Lingonberry?
- Urinary tract health
- Antioxidant support
- Heart and metabolic health
- Inflammation
Lingonberry is a tart red berry rich in antioxidants such as anthocyanins and the compound arbutin, and it is popular as a food and folk remedy for urinary tract and general wellness. Human evidence for specific health benefits is still limited, so it is best enjoyed as part of a healthy diet rather than relied on to treat any condition. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using concentrated extracts, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a medical condition.
Vaccinium vitis-idaea · Ericaceae · Berries and leaves · Juice, dried berries, jam, capsules, extracts, tea (from leaves)
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Lingonberry is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Lingonberry record says about it on its own.
Lingonberry: dosing
There is no official or standardized dose for lingonberry supplements. The amount of active compounds can vary widely between products such as juices, dried berries, capsules, and extracts. If you choose to use a lingonberry product, follow the directions on the product label and do not exceed the recommended amount. Eating the berries as food is a simple and generally safe way to enjoy them.

About Dextroamphetamine
What Is Dextroamphetamine Used For?
Brand name: Dexedrine
Dextroamphetamine treats two conditions: ADHD and narcolepsy (a sleep disorder causing uncontrollable daytime sleepiness). It is available in multiple forms — tablets, extended-release capsules, oral solution, and a skin patch — and the approved age ranges vary by product.
Oral tablets (Zenzedi, generic) and oral solutions (Procentra, generic) are approved for ADHD in children as young as 3 years old and for narcolepsy. Extended-release capsules (Dexedrine, generic) are approved for ADHD in children ages 6 to 16 and for narcolepsy. Xelstrym, the transdermal patch, is approved only for ADHD — in adults and children ages 6 and older — and is not indicated for narcolepsy.
