Aggrenox is a combo of aspirin and dipyridamole, two medicines that keep your platelets from sticking together so you're less likely to form a dangerous clot. The flip side is that they already make you bleed and bruise more easily on their own.

Here's where lycopene comes in. In test-tube studies, lycopene also seems to make platelets a little less sticky. So in theory, stacking a concentrated lycopene supplement on top of Aggrenox could nudge your bleeding risk up a bit. Honestly, this is only a lab-based concern, and tomato-rich foods are very unlikely to matter. High-dose pills are a different story. Watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding gums, and run any lycopene supplement past your pharmacist or doctor first.
