Here's the simple version: Benazepril (Lotensin) already lowers your blood pressure, and nattokinase may nudge it down a little too. Stack the two and you could end up lower than intended. That can show up as dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up, feeling tired, or even a faint feeling.

I want to be honest about the evidence, though. This concern is mostly theoretical, based on how nattokinase behaves rather than strong studies of the two together. For most folks it's a mild, additive effect. The other thing to keep in mind is that nattokinase may gently thin the blood, so watch for any unusual bruising or bleeding. Before you add it, check in with your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your numbers.

Nattokinase is an enzyme from the fermented soybean food natto that may have mild blood-thinning and blood-flow effects. What Is Benazepril Used For?

Brand name: Lotensin

Benazepril — sold as Lotensin and under the generic names Benazepril and Benazepril Hydrochloride — is approved to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events, including strokes and heart attacks.

It can be used on its own or combined with a thiazide diuretic (water pill) when blood pressure needs extra control. Lotensin is specifically indicated for the treatment of hypertension to lower blood pressure.
