Quinethazone (Hydromox) is a thiazide-type water pill that lowers blood pressure by helping your body get rid of extra salt and fluid. Nattokinase, on its own, may nudge blood pressure down a little too. Put the two together and those effects can stack, so in theory your pressure could drop more than expected.

If that happens, you might notice lightheadedness, dizziness when you stand up, fatigue, or feeling faint. I want to be honest though: this concern is theoretical, based on how each one works, not on strong studies of them combined. It doesn't mean you can't use both, but it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding nattokinase, especially when you first start. Please don't stop or change your Quinethazone on your own.

Nattokinase is an enzyme from the fermented soybean food natto that may have mild blood-thinning and blood-flow effects.
