Panax Ginseng + Indapamide
Indapamide brand names: Lozol, Lozide.
Panax Ginseng has a moderate interaction with Indapamide. Theoretically, Panax ginseng has an additive effect with drugs that prolong the QT interval and potentially increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS
Why this applies to Indapamide
Indapamide falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Panax Ginseng interacts with.
Clinical research shows that short-term use of Panax ginseng can increase the QT interval. However, no changes in QT interval have been identified with prolonged use.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the connection worth knowing about. Indapamide can stretch out something called the QT interval, which is just the timing of your heartbeat's electrical reset. Panax ginseng has been shown in some short-term studies to do the same thing on its own. Put them together and, in theory, those effects could add up and slightly raise the chance of an irregular heart rhythm.
I want to keep this in perspective. The evidence is mixed, and longer-term ginseng use didn't seem to change the QT interval at all. Indapamide can also lower your potassium, which matters here since low potassium makes rhythm problems more likely. I wouldn't panic, but please run this by your pharmacist or doctor before adding ginseng, especially if you've had any heart rhythm issues.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Indapamide page
“A water pill like indapamide (Lozol) lowers blood pressure and pulls potassium down, and most of the 215 supplements and herbs on file press on those same levers. Thirteen entries rate major, so this is a list to read with real care rather than skim.”

- Blood sugar support
Panax ginseng is a popular traditional herb used to boost energy, ease stress, and support overall wellness, though scientific evidence is mixed and mostly preliminary. About Indapamide
What Is Indapamide Used For?
Brand names: Lozol, Lozide
Indapamide tablets are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), either on their own or together with other blood pressure medications. Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of related complications.
Indapamide tablets are also used to treat salt and fluid retention (edema) associated with congestive heart failure. In certain cases, indapamide may also be appropriate during pregnancy when swelling is caused by a medical condition rather than normal pregnancy changes — but routine use in otherwise healthy pregnant women is not recommended.
