Here's the simple version: both phenibut and clorazepate calm down the brain and nervous system. Clorazepate is a benzodiazepine, so it already slows nerve activity to ease anxiety or seizures. Stack phenibut on top, and you're pressing the same brake pedal twice. That can mean much deeper drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, slurred speech, poor coordination, and in worse cases dangerously slow or shallow breathing.

This warning is based on pharmacology and case reports rather than large studies, but it's a real concern, especially since phenibut itself can cause dependence and rough withdrawal. We don't recommend using phenibut at all. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist about safer, proven options before combining anything with clorazepate.

What Is Clorazepate Used For?

Brand names: Tranxene, Tranxene T-Tab, Tranxene SD

Clorazepate dipotassium tablets are used to manage anxiety disorders or to provide short-term relief of anxiety symptoms. They are also used as an add-on (adjunctive) therapy alongside other medications to help control partial seizures in adults and children aged 9 and older.

In addition, clorazepate dipotassium tablets are used for symptomatic relief during acute alcohol withdrawal — helping to ease the physical symptoms that can occur when someone suddenly stops drinking.
