Insulin Lispro Recombinant falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Phlorizin interacts with.

Phlorizin is a potent, nonselective inhibitor of SGLT1 and SGLT2. It has been shown to reduce blood glucose levels in animal research. Theoretically, phlorizin might have additive effects with antidiabetes drugs and increase the risk of hypoglycemia. However, the likelihood of this effect is unclear due to the poor bioavailability and rapid degradation of phlorizin. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Dose adjustments might be necessary.
Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the simple version: Humalog (insulin lispro) is a fast-acting insulin you take to bring your blood sugar down around meals. Phlorizin works in a totally different way, pushing extra sugar out through your urine, which also tends to lower blood sugar. Stack two blood-sugar-lowering effects on top of each other and you could end up lower than you intended.

If that happens, you might notice shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded, the usual signs of hypoglycemia. That said, this is a theoretical concern. Phlorizin is poorly absorbed when swallowed and breaks down quickly, so a real-world effect is far from certain. Still, since insulin leaves little room for error, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and keep an eye on your glucose readings.
