Here's the gist for these two together. Donepezil works by raising acetylcholine, one of the brain's key messenger chemicals, to help with memory in Alzheimer's. Phosphatidylserine is thought to nudge acetylcholine levels up too. So in theory, stacking them could add to the same cholinergic effect, and that might mean a bit more of donepezil's usual side effects, things like nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps, slow heartbeat, vivid dreams, or muscle cramps.

I want to be honest about how soft this is. The concern is mostly theoretical and based on lower quality studies, not strong proof that it actually causes problems. For most people it's probably minor, but since donepezil is a serious medication, please run the combo by your pharmacist or doctor before adding phosphatidylserine, and let them know if any side effects pick up.
