Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
STIMULANT DRUGS
Why this applies to Hethylphenidate HCl
Hethylphenidate HCl falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Raspberry Ketone interacts with.
Structurally, raspberry ketone resembles synephrine, a known stimulant agent. Heart palpitations, elevated blood pressure, coronary vasospasm, pulseless electrical activity arrest, and resistant polymorphic ventricular tachycardia have been reported in patients taking raspberry ketone.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thing to keep in mind if you're combining raspberry ketone with methylphenidate (the active ingredient in products like Ritalin or Concerta). Methylphenidate is a stimulant on its own, and it can already nudge up your heart rate and blood pressure. Raspberry ketone is chemically a cousin of synephrine, another stimulant-like compound, so the worry is that stacking the two could add up and put extra strain on your heart.
Honestly, the evidence here is thin and mostly theoretical, based on scattered case reports rather than solid studies. Still, since both lean in the same direction, I'd watch for things like a racing or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, or higher blood pressure. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, especially if you have any heart concerns.

About Raspberry Ketone
What is Raspberry Ketone?
- Weight loss
- Fat burning
- Boosting metabolism
- Appetite support
- General 'fat-burner' supplement
Raspberry ketone is a natural aroma compound found in red raspberries that is heavily marketed for weight loss, but there is no good human evidence that it helps people lose weight. Most claims come from lab and animal studies using doses far higher than what you could get from food or typical supplements. If you choose to try it, talk to your pharmacist or doctor first.
