Testosterone Undecanoate falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Rhubarb interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of rhubarb with potentially hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of developing liver damage.
Some animal research suggests that anthraquinones in rhubarb might have hepatotoxic effects. Also, rhubarb use has been linked to at least 24 cases of liver injury, although details on the dose of rhubarb and duration of use in these cases is unclear.

Here's the concern with pairing rhubarb root with testosterone undecanoate. The oral version of this drug (brands like Jatenzo and Kyzatrex) is processed by your liver and can put some stress on it, which is why doctors often check liver-related blood tests while you're on it. Rhubarb root supplements contain compounds called anthraquinones that, at least in animal studies, may also be hard on the liver. Stacking two things that could each tax the liver is the worry here.

I'll be honest though, this is a theoretical caution based on how these work, not strong proof. Everyday rhubarb stalks in a pie aren't the issue, it's concentrated root supplements. If you take both, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your liver tests rather than you changing anything on your own.

About Testosterone Injection

What Is Testosterone Injection Used For?

Brand names: Andriol, Aveed, Jatenzo, Kyzatrex

Testosterone injection is primarily used in men whose bodies do not produce enough testosterone on their own — a condition called hypogonadism. This includes primary hypogonadism (a problem with the testicles themselves, such as from injury, infection, or surgery) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (caused by problems in the brain's hormone signaling from the hypothalamus or pituitary gland). It is also used to stimulate puberty in carefully selected adolescent males with clearly delayed puberty who have not responded to other support.

Testosterone Enanthate Injection is also approved for use in women with advanced, inoperable metastatic breast cancer (specifically skeletal metastases) who are one to five years past menopause, or in premenopausal women with hormone-responsive breast cancer who have had their ovaries removed. This use should be directed by an oncologist. Aveed (testosterone undecanoate) is specifically approved for male hypogonadism only.
