The piece of this combination pill that matters most here is the codeine, which is an opioid that calms the nervous system and can make you drowsy. Skullcap is thought to gently nudge your brain's calming signals (GABA) in the same direction. Put them together and the sleepy, relaxed effects can stack up, so you may feel more drowsy, foggy, lightheaded, or slow to react than you'd expect from the medicine alone.

I'll be honest, this concern comes mostly from lab and animal work, so it's more theoretical than proven in people. Still, with an opioid on board I'd play it safe. Skip activities like driving until you know how you feel, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing these two.
