Here's the gist for taking thyroid extract alongside oxymetholone (an oral anabolic steroid sometimes used for certain anemias or muscle wasting). The interaction on file is a minor, timing-based one: oral medications and food in your stomach can get in the way of how well thyroid hormone is absorbed. So this is really about your thyroid supplement working properly, not about oxymetholone losing its punch.

Oxymetholone is not a prodrug here, so it doesn't change how the thyroid hormone is activated. The simple fix is spacing them out. Thyroid hormone absorbs best on an empty stomach, so take it first and wait at least 30 to 60 minutes before your oxymetholone or breakfast. Because over-the-counter thyroid extract is unpredictable, please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before combining these.
