Here's the gist: your combo pill (hydrochlorothiazide plus spironolactone) is a water pill that helps lower blood pressure. The concern with wild carrot is only theoretical, based on how the plant behaves in the lab, not on real patient studies. The idea is that concentrated wild carrot seed oil might have mild heart and blood-pressure effects that could work against your medicine, making it less effective at controlling your numbers.

In everyday terms, the small amounts in food or tea are very unlikely to matter. If you used a strong seed-oil supplement, you'd mainly want to watch that your blood pressure doesn't creep up. Since spironolactone also affects potassium, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding any wild carrot product.

Here's the gist for your water pill (the hydrochlorothiazide and spironolactone combo): this medication can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so you may sunburn faster or break out in a rash on sun-exposed areas. Wild carrot, especially its seeds and essential oils, contains plant compounds that may add a little extra sun sensitivity of their own. Put them together and, in theory, you could be a bit more prone to sunburn.

This is a theoretical concern based on how these compounds behave, not from solid human studies, so I wouldn't panic. Still, it's an easy one to manage: use sunscreen, wear a hat, and cover up outdoors. Before adding wild carrot, run it by your pharmacist or doctor.
