What’s inside
Low disclosure
This liquid contains 2 active ingredients: False Unicorn Root Extract and Crampbark Bark Extract, blended together. There are no other inactive ingredients listed on file.
False unicorn has a long history in traditional herbalism, particularly for women's health concerns. Crampbark is traditionally used for muscle-related discomfort, though the specific purpose of this combination isn't detailed in the available data.
Does it work?
Not established
The product facts don't include effectiveness ratings for either ingredient. We don't have established evidence on file for how well crampbark works for muscle cramps, kidney stones, dysmenorrhea, or pregnancy-related leg cramps — the available data shows insufficient reliable evidence to rate it for any of these uses.
No effectiveness data is on file for false unicorn root either.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
False unicorn root is generally well tolerated at normal doses, though large doses have been reported to cause nausea and vomiting. However, safety data in humans is limited, and the traditional use of false unicorn to affect the uterus means it should be avoided in pregnancy — the data rates it as likely unsafe.
There isn't enough safety information available to recommend it while breastfeeding either. Crampbark is traditionally used in herbal medicine, but human safety data are limited.
Like false unicorn, it's best avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding because safety hasn't been established.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before you start this product, check if you take any antidepressants, pain relievers like codeine or fentanyl, blood pressure medications (especially calcium channel blockers), chemotherapy drugs, or lithium. These carry Moderate-severity interaction risks with false unicorn root.
Use the medication checker below with your exact prescription names to be sure.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product is best suited for people looking for traditional herbal support who don't take medications processed through CYP2D6 or CYP3A4, and who aren't taking lithium. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any prescription medications, talk with your pharmacist or doctor before starting — the interaction potential and the limited human safety data make this a conversation worth having.

False Unicorn Root Extract
Cytochrome P450 2D6 (Cyp2D6) Substrates
In vitro, false unicorn extract inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) activity. Theoretically, false unicorn might increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates. Some of drugs that are CYP2D6 substrates include amitriptyline (Elavil), clozapine (Clozaril), codeine, desipramine (Norpramin), donepezil (Aricept), fentanyl (Duragesic), flecainide (Tambocor), fluoxetine (Prozac), meperidine (Demerol), methadone (Dolophine), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL), olanzapine (Zyprexa), ondansetron (Zofran), tramadol (Ultram), trazodone (Desyrel), and others.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
In vitro, false unicorn extract inhibits cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) activity. Theoretically, false unicorn might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates. Drugs that might be affected include some calcium channel blockers (diltiazem, nicardipine, verapamil), chemotherapeutic agents (etoposide, paclitaxel, vinblastine, vincristine, vindesine), antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole), glucocorticoids, cisapride (Propulsid), alfentanil (Alfenta), fentanyl (Sublimaze), losartan (Cozaar), fluoxetine (Prozac), midazolam (Versed), omeprazole (Prilosec), ondansetron (Zofran), propranolol (Inderal), fexofenadine (Allegra), and numerous others.
Lithium
False unicorn is thought to have diuretic properties. Theoretically, due to these potential diuretic effects, false unicorn might reduce excretion and increase levels of lithium. The dose of lithium might need to be decreased.
