- Great Plains Bentonite for Alimentary Detoxification - Binds herbicides and other potentially harmful substances by adsorbent action. Great Plains Bentonite for Maximum Activity - The total surface area to grab toxins in one tablespoon serving is over 8,100 square feet, more than the floor surface area of four average size 2,000 square foot homes. Great Plains Bentonite for Maximum Purity - Ultra-pure and contains the most active type of bentonite, known as montmorillonite, for maximum benefits. Great Plains Betonite is a mineral source dietary supplement that traps and binds unwanted, non-nutritive substances such as herbicides and other potentially harmful substances. Bentonite's mechanism of action is physical, due to its colloidal structure and charged particles.
