Beclometasone dipropionate falls under CORTICOSTEROIDS — the group Sodium interacts with.

Concomitant use of mineralocorticoids and some glucocorticoids with sodium supplements might increase the risk of hypernatremia.
Mineralocorticoids and some glucocorticoids (corticosteroids) cause sodium retention. This effect is dose-related and depends on mineralocorticoid potency. It is most common with hydrocortisone, cortisone, and fludrocortisone, followed by prednisone and prednisolone.

Here's the gist: some steroids make your body hold onto sodium, and pairing them with extra sodium could, in theory, push your blood sodium too high (called hypernatremia). But this concern really applies to steroids with strong salt-retaining (mineralocorticoid) activity, like hydrocortisone or fludrocortisone. Beclometasone is different. It's an inhaled steroid (Becotide) that works mostly right in your airways, with very little reaching the rest of your body.

Because so little is absorbed and it has almost no salt-retaining effect, the chance of it raising your sodium is very low. This warning is theoretical, based on how steroids work as a group rather than real cases with beclometasone. Still, if you've been told to take sodium for a medical reason, or you have heart, kidney, or blood pressure issues, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
