Immuno-DMG Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Immuno-DMG against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy
Immuno-DMG is a dietary supplement by DaVinci Laboratories with 4 active ingredients. Its ingredients are commonly taken for immune support, blood sugar support in diabetes, high blood pressure.Based on those ingredients, 381 medications have a known interaction with it, the most serious rated moderate. The ingredients most likely to interact are Beta-1,3-Glucan, Maitake PD-Fraction powder, Larch tree (Larix laricina) Arabinogalactan powder. Use the checker below to test your specific medication, or read the full HelloPharmacist Interaction Report.

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
Immuno-DMG has four active ingredients designed to support immune function. Larch arabinogalactan is a fiber from the larch tree that may help with immune response.
Beta-glucans — a type of polysaccharide — and maitake PD-Fraction powder, derived from mushroom, are both included for their potential immune-supporting properties. N,N-Dimethylglycine HCl and D-Fraction round out the formula.
The tablets also contain inactive ingredients like microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, and silica to hold the tablet together.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for this product's ingredients is mixed. Beta-glucans are rated Likely Effective for lowering cholesterol (dyslipidemia) and supporting heart health (coronary heart disease).
However, larch arabinogalactan has Insufficient Reliable Evidence To Rate for the common cold and cholesterol — meaning studies haven't established whether it works for these uses. We hold no effectiveness ratings for D-Fraction, N,N-Dimethylglycine HCl, or the maitake component in our data, so we can't say how they perform.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Larch arabinogalactan and beta-glucans are generally well tolerated, though long-term safety data are limited for concentrated supplements. The most common side effect from larch arabinogalactan is bloating and flatulence — expected for a fiber.
Beta-glucans in food amounts are considered safe, but the safety profile of supplement doses is not well studied. One trial of children with neuroblastoma reported a single case of mild, temporary liver enzyme elevation after high-dose oral beta-glucans.
Topically applied beta-glucans cream caused mild, self-limiting skin reactions in some trial participants.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check your medications before taking this product if you take immunosuppressant drugs (like azathioprine, cyclosporine, mycophenolate, or tacrolimus) — larch arabinogalactan and beta-glucans may interfere with them. Also check if you take blood pressure medications, since beta-glucans might lower your blood pressure further and increase the risk of low blood pressure (hypotension).
We could not check D-Fraction or N,N-Dimethylglycine HCl for interactions.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product may be worth considering if you're looking to support general immune health, and beta-glucans have solid evidence for cholesterol and heart health. However, if you take immunosuppressants (for an organ transplant or autoimmune condition) or blood pressure medication, talk to your pharmacist or doctor before starting — the ingredients may interfere with how these drugs work.
Anyone on medication should run their exact prescriptions through our checker first.

Immuno-DMG by DaVinci Laboratories Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Immuno-DMG by DaVinci Laboratories contains two ingredients with documented interactions with medications.
The most serious concern is a Moderate-severity interaction with immunosuppressant drugs (like azathioprine, cyclosporine, tacrolimus, and mycophenolate). Both larch arabinogalactan and beta-glucans may theoretically interfere with how these drugs work because they stimulate immune function.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Beta-glucans also have a Moderate interaction with blood pressure medications (antihypertensives). Taking this product alongside blood pressure drugs might increase the risk of low blood pressure (hypotension), since beta-glucans themselves may lower systolic and diastolic readings in some people.
We could not check two other ingredients in this product — D-Fraction and N,N-Dimethylglycine HCl — because we hold no interaction data for them. The maitake mushroom is listed as a blend of components shown individually elsewhere in our monographs.
Altogether, these interactions span 287 individual medications.
If you take any immunosuppressant or blood pressure medication, use the interaction checker on this page to verify your exact drugs before starting this product.

Beta-1,3-Glucan
Antihypertensive Drugs

Clinical research shows that taking beta-glucans may reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure in some hypertensive individuals.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, beta-glucans might interfere with immunosuppressive therapy.
Some clinical research shows that beta-glucans have immunostimulant effects.
Maitake PD-Fraction powder
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, combining maitake mushroom with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Clinical research shows that taking maitake mushroom polysaccharide (MMP) can lower blood glucose levels in patients with types 2 diabetes.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, combining maitake mushroom with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research shows that maitake mushroom can lower blood pressure.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
There is limited evidence that maitake mushroom may increase the anticoagulant effects of warfarin.
In a case report, a patient previously stabilized on warfarin developed an elevated international normalized ratio (INR) of 5.1 after taking maitake mushroom (Grifron-Pro Maitake D-Fraction) 1 drop/kg daily in three divided doses for one week. The elevated INR resolved after holding warfarin for two days, then reducing the dose by 11%. It is thought that the beta-glucan constituent of maitake mushroom might cause warfarin dissociation from proteins, resulting in increased free warfarin levels and increased warfarin effects.
Larch tree (Larix laricina) Arabinogalactan powder
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, larch arabinogalactan might interfere with immunosuppression therapy due to immunostimulant effects. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), corticosteroids (glucocorticoids), and other drugs.
