HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Kids Chewable 10 Billion CFU Yummy Berry by EndoMune Jr
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
EndoMune Jr contains four active ingredients, all probiotics (beneficial bacteria). Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium animalis lactis, Bifidobacterium longum, and Bifidobacterium bifidum are live microorganisms designed to support digestive health.
Each chewable tablet delivers 10 billion colony-forming units (CFU) in a yummy berry flavor. The product also contains several inactive ingredients, including xylitol, fructooligosaccharide, and natural flavors, along with other excipients that help form and preserve the tablet.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for these probiotics is mixed. Lactobacillus acidophilus is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, Helicobacter pylori infection, and bacterial vaginosis.
Bifidobacterium bifidum is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome and respiratory tract infections. For Bifidobacterium longum, we don't have enough reliable evidence to rate its effectiveness for the conditions studied.
Many other potential uses—like allergies, anxiety, asthma, and cognitive decline—lack sufficient evidence in our data to know whether these probiotics help.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Lactobacillus acidophilus and the two Bifidobacterium species are generally well tolerated in healthy children. However, they're live organisms, so there's a small theoretical risk of infection in children who are seriously ill or have weakened immune systems.
Rare gastrointestinal side effects—like bloating, flatulence, abdominal discomfort, or diarrhea—have been reported in clinical use, but they're uncommon. Very rare cases of serious infection (bacteremia or sepsis) have occurred, mostly in critically ill patients.
Data on Bifidobacterium longum during breastfeeding are limited, so check with your pediatrician before use if you're nursing. There is no pregnancy or breastfeeding data on file for Lactobacillus acidophilus or Bifidobacterium bifidum.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Antibiotic drugs are the main medication type to watch. All three of the checked probiotic ingredients in this product can have reduced effectiveness if given at the same time as an antibiotic.
Space them out, and let your child's doctor or pharmacist know you're using this probiotic.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
EndoMune Jr is a multi-strain probiotic for children with some evidence behind a couple of the ingredients for gut health. If your child is on an antibiotic, time the doses apart and ask your pharmacist how.
If your child has a weakened immune system or serious illness, talk to their doctor before starting. For any specific health question or concern, check with your pediatrician or pharmacist.

Kids Chewable 10 Billion CFU Yummy Berry by EndoMune Jr Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
EndoMune Jr Kids Chewable contains four probiotic ingredients, three of which have documented interactions.
The most serious concern is with antibiotic drugs (Moderate severity). Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium longum, and Bifidobacterium bifidum can all theoretically have their effectiveness reduced when taken at the same time as antibiotics, because antibiotics may kill the live organisms in the probiotic.
Altogether, these interactions span 182 individual medications.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
If your child is on an antibiotic, the best approach is to separate when you give the probiotic and the antibiotic — don't take them together. Your doctor or pharmacist can help you space them out so the probiotic still has a chance to work.
We were unable to check Bifidobacterium animalis lactis for interactions because we don't hold data on that ingredient. Use the medication checker on this page to look up your child's exact prescriptions before starting this product.
