What’s inside
Full disclosure
CurEase Maqui Berry Powder contains a single active ingredient: maqui berry. There are no other inactive ingredients listed in this product — it's maqui alone in powder form.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence for maqui berry isn't established in the data we hold. Studies haven't found reliable proof that it helps with dry eye, prediabetes, or psychological well-being.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work; it means we don't have strong human evidence yet to say whether it does.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
Maqui berry in food amounts is likely safe, but supplement safety hasn't been well studied. The available safety information is limited, so the recommendation on file is to avoid supplement doses until more data exists.
There are no adverse effects documented in trial data we could access. For pregnancy and lactation, the safety data we hold doesn't provide enough information to know either way.
If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, talk with your doctor or pharmacist about whether this product is right for you.
Meds to double-check
Minor interactions only
If you take any antidiabetes drugs — metformin, insulin, sulfonylureas, or any other blood sugar medication — mention them to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. They'll want to watch for signs that your blood sugar is dropping too low.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Only minor medication interactions are documented, and some safety-information gaps remain.
CurEase Maqui Berry Powder is a single-ingredient product with limited safety and effectiveness data as a supplement. If you take antidiabetes medications, check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting it.
Given the caution around supplement doses, it's worth discussing with your healthcare provider whether this is the right choice for you.

HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
CurEase Maqui Berry Powder contains maqui, which has documented interactions with one class of medications.
The main concern is with antidiabetes drugs (like metformin, sulfonylureas, and insulin): maqui may theoretically increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) when combined with these medications. Animal research shows maqui berry can lower fasting blood glucose, though human studies of people with prediabetes haven't shown that effect.

Altogether, these interactions span 86 individual medications. If you take any antidiabetes medication, you'll want to check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding this powder — they can help you monitor for signs of low blood sugar and adjust your dosing if needed.
