Peak PS Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Peak PS against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Peak PS by Peak Pure & Natural
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
Peak PS is a single-ingredient supplement: phosphatidylserine, a fat-like compound found naturally in cell membranes and certain foods. The capsule also contains inactive ingredients — gum arabic, rice bran, vegetable capsule material, silica, and L-leucine — which serve as binders and fillers.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Phosphatidylserine is rated possibly effective for age-related cognitive decline and Alzheimer's disease based on available evidence. For athletic performance, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), general cognitive function, and dementia, the evidence isn't established in our data — we hold insufficient reliable evidence to rate it one way or the other.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Phosphatidylserine is generally well tolerated in studies, though long-term safety hasn't been fully established. The most common side effects are flatulence, gastrointestinal upset, headache, insomnia, and nausea — with insomnia more likely at higher doses around 600 mg.
Gastrointestinal symptoms can appear at doses of 200–300 mg per day. There isn't enough safety information during pregnancy, so the data advises against it.
Safety while breastfeeding is unknown as well, and avoidance is recommended. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist for personalized advice if you're pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking Peak PS, check your medications against these two categories: anticholinergic drugs (used for motion sickness, allergies, Parkinson's disease, and other conditions) and cholinergic drugs (such as those for myasthenia gravis or some Alzheimer's treatments) — both carry Moderate interaction concerns. Use the search tool on this page with your exact medications.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Peak PS may help with age-related cognitive decline or Alzheimer's disease, but the evidence is limited for other uses. If you take anticholinergic or cholinergic medications, check with your pharmacist first.
Avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless your doctor says otherwise.

Peak PS by Peak Pure & Natural Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Peak PS contains phosphatidylserine, which has documented interactions with two categories of medications.
The most serious concern is with anticholinergic drugs (Moderate severity) — medications like benztropine or diphenhydramine used for motion sickness, allergies, or Parkinson's disease. Phosphatidylserine is thought to increase acetylcholine levels, which could theoretically decrease how well these drugs work.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Phosphatidylserine may also have additive effects (Moderate severity) with cholinergic drugs — medications that boost acetylcholine activity, such as some drugs used for myasthenia gravis or Alzheimer's disease. The concern is that combining them might intensify cholinergic effects.
Altogether, these interactions span 218 individual medications. If you take any anticholinergic or cholinergic medication, run it through the checker below before you start Peak PS.
