RAD 140 is possibly unsafe and carries serious risks you should know about. Common side effects include decreased appetite, dehydration, elevated liver enzymes, vomiting, and weight loss.

Rarer but serious effects are heart muscle inflammation (acute myocarditis), abnormal blood phosphate levels, and liver injury. One case report documented a 32-year-old who developed acute myocarditis — inflammation of the heart muscle — after using testolone for athletic performance, requiring hospitalization and multiple medications including blood thinners.

The drug is hormonally active and has no safety data in pregnancy or breastfeeding — the facts advise against use in both. Altogether, the safety notes call it an unapproved experimental drug that should not be used.

Theoretically, concomitant use might have additive hepatotoxic effects.
In a case report, a 52-year-old male was diagnosed with liver injury thought to be related to the use of products containing testolone. Also, elevated liver enzymes were commonly reported in a dose escalation study of testolone.
