RezVera Advanced Probiotic Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking RezVera Advanced Probiotic against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of RezVera Advanced Probiotic by T.S. Supplements
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
RezVera Advanced Probiotic contains 7 active probiotic ingredients: four Lactobacillus strains (L. acidophilus, L. plantarum, L. rhamnosus, and L. casei), three Bifidobacterium strains (B. breve, B. longum), and one Bacillus subtilis strain. These are live microorganisms designed to support gut health.
The capsules also contain inactive ingredients — vegetable cellulose, magnesium stearate, and stearic acid — which are standard binders and capsule materials.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for these strains varies. L. acidophilus is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Helicobacter pylori infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis.
Bacillus subtilis is possibly effective for antibiotic-associated diarrhea. For the other ingredients and conditions, the evidence either isn't established yet or points toward ineffectiveness — for instance, both B. breve and B. longum show insufficient evidence for most conditions they're studied for.
If you're considering this product for a specific health goal, talk with your pharmacist about what the data actually supports.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
These probiotics are generally well tolerated in healthy adults and children, but the safety data come with important caveats. All four checked strains carry a caution: because they're live organisms, there's a rare but documented risk of infection (bacteremia, sepsis, or serious bloodstream infection) in patients who are very ill, immunocompromised, or in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Minor gastrointestinal side effects like bloating, flatulence, abdominal discomfort, and burping are uncommon but possible. There's also one reported case of rash and itching in a clinical trial, though it's unclear if that was due to this product.
Pregnancy and lactation safety data are limited — B. longum is rated possibly safe in pregnancy, but for the others, we don't have enough information on file. Talk with your doctor before using this product if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, seriously ill, or have a weakened immune system.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Antibiotic drugs are the main concern — they can kill the live bacteria in this supplement and reduce its effectiveness. Space your antibiotic dose at least a few hours away from this probiotic.
We couldn't check three of the bacterial strains in the product, so use the medication search tool below for your complete list of drugs.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
RezVera Advanced Probiotic is generally well tolerated for healthy people and may help with specific gut conditions like IBS or antibiotic-associated diarrhea. If you take antibiotics, separate them from this supplement by a few hours.
Be extra cautious if you're very ill, immunocompromised, or using a feeding tube — talk to your doctor first. Run your medications through the checker on this page before you start.

RezVera Advanced Probiotic by T.S. Supplements Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
RezVera Advanced Probiotic by T.S.
Supplements contains several live bacterial strains, and four of them do interact with medications. The most serious concern involves antibiotic drugs.
Since these probiotics contain live organisms, taking them at the same time as antibiotics might kill off a significant portion of the beneficial bacteria and reduce the probiotic's effectiveness. This Moderate-severity interaction affects L. acidophilus, B. breve, B. longum, and Bacillus subtilis.
The solution is straightforward: space out your antibiotic and probiotic doses — your pharmacist or doctor can tell you the right timing.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Altogether, these interactions span 182 individual medications.
We couldn't check three other bacterial strains in this product — L. plantarum, L. rhamnosus, and L. casei — because we don't hold interaction data for them. That doesn't mean they're interaction-free; it just means we have no monograph on file.
Before you start this supplement, run your exact medications through the interaction checker on this page to catch anything we may have missed.
