This is a four-ingredient synbiotic — that means it combines probiotics (live beneficial bacteria) with ingredients meant to feed them. The active ingredients are three Bacillus strains: B. subtilis HU-588, B. coagulans SC-208 HC, and B. clausii SC-109.
The product also contains MegaTrio, which is a blend of additional components, and MicrobiomeX. The rest is just the capsule itself and cellulose filler.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
B. subtilis has possibly effective evidence for antibiotic-associated diarrhea (diarrhea that happens after you take antibiotics), but the evidence for other uses — including athletic performance, constipation, eczema, and diabetes — is insufficient to rate. B. coagulans shows possibly effective evidence for constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), though the evidence for antibiotic-associated diarrhea and other conditions is insufficient to rate.

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Both B. subtilis and B. coagulans are generally well tolerated in healthy adults, but the safety data is limited and product quality varies. In clinical trials, headache and diarrhea have been reported rarely.
There's one important caution: in people with weakened immune systems, central lines or catheters, or serious illness, live probiotic products have rarely caused bloodstream infections. We don't have enough safety data to know either way whether this product is safe in pregnancy or while breastfeeding — talk with your doctor or pharmacist for personalized advice.

B. subtilis HU-588
Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking Bacillus subtilis with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of B. subtilis.
Since B. subtilis preparations usually contain live and active organisms, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and B. subtilis preparations by at least 2 hours.
B. coagulans SC-208 HC
Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking antibiotics with Bacillus coagulans might decrease the effectiveness of B. coagulans.
B. coagulans preparations usually contain live and active organisms. Therefore, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and B. coagulans preparations by at least two hours.
