Women's Advanced Care Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by UP4
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Women's Advanced Care against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

What’s inside
Low disclosure
Women's Advanced Care contains 10 active probiotic ingredients — a mix of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species, including Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1, Lactobacillus brevis, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium lactis, Bifidobacterium breve, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus reuteri, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus. These are live bacteria meant to support your gut flora.
The capsule also contains cellulose, plant magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide as inactive ingredients.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for this product's ingredients is mixed and often limited. Lactobacillus acidophilus is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome, H. pylori infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis.
However, most of the other ingredients — including Lactobacillus gasseri and both Bifidobacterium species — have insufficient reliable evidence to rate for the conditions they're studied for, or in some cases are rated possibly ineffective. The facts we hold don't establish clear effectiveness for this product as a whole.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Lactobacillus acidophilus is generally well tolerated in healthy adults and children, though some may experience uncommon gastrointestinal side effects like abdominal discomfort, bloating, flatulence, or diarrhea when combined with other probiotics. The other checked ingredients are generally well tolerated too, but caution is advised — especially for people who are seriously ill or immune-compromised, since live probiotic bacteria have rarely caused blood infections (bacteremia) or sepsis in critically ill patients.
Bifidobacterium longum is rated possibly safe in pregnancy and lactation, but pregnancy and lactation safety data for the other ingredients are limited or unavailable — check with your doctor before use if you're pregnant or nursing.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
You'll need to double-check antibiotic drugs before taking this product — the live bacteria in it can be killed by antibiotics, reducing this product's effectiveness. If you're on antibiotics, separate when you take them from when you take this supplement.
No other medication interactions are documented for the ingredients we could check.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This is a multi-strain probiotic for general gut health, with the strongest evidence behind Lactobacillus acidophilus for a few digestive and vaginal conditions. It's generally well tolerated in healthy people, but if you're on antibiotics, seriously ill, or have a weakened immune system, talk with your pharmacist or doctor first.
