Clinical
DoloMax Cold Cough is an over-the-counter oral tablet that combines multiple active ingredients to address cold and cough symptoms. Acetaminophen is typically used to reduce fever and relieve minor aches and pain, while dextromethorphan is commonly used as a cough suppressant. Guaifenesin functions as an expectorant to help thin mucus, and phenylephrine is a decongestant typically used to relieve nasal congestion. This combination product is marketed under the FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for cold and cough medicines.
