Clinical
This is an over-the-counter oral tablet that combines four active ingredients commonly used to address cold and sinus symptoms. Acetaminophen is typically used to reduce pain and fever, while dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Guaifenesin functions as an expectorant, helping to thin and clear mucus, and phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant meant to ease sinus pressure and congestion. The tablet is film-coated for easier swallowing.
