Codeine Phosphate, Pseudoephedrine, Triprolidine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Acacia Rigidula interacts with.

Theoretically, Acacia rigidula products that are adulterated with beta-methylphenylethylamine (BMPEA) might increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, strongly inhibits CYP2D6 enzyme.

Here's the wrinkle with CoActifed: the codeine part is a prodrug. Your body has to switch it on using an enzyme called CYP2D6 to turn it into morphine, which is what actually relieves pain or quiets a cough. Some Acacia rigidula products have been found spiked with a stimulant called BMPEA, and in lab studies that compound blocks CYP2D6. If that enzyme is blocked, less codeine gets converted, so you may get weaker pain or cough relief than expected.

Keep in mind this is theoretical, based only on test-tube research, not real patient cases. Still, since these supplements may contain hidden stimulants on top of the pseudoephedrine already in CoActifed, I'd skip the Acacia product and check with your pharmacist first.

The piece of your CoActifed that matters here is the pseudoephedrine, which is itself a stimulant decongestant. Acacia rigidula products may contain natural stimulant amines, and some have even been found spiked with an unapproved stimulant called BMPEA. Stacking two stimulants together can add up and put extra strain on your heart and blood vessels.

In real life that could mean a racing or pounding heartbeat, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, or trouble sleeping. To be fair, this warning is theoretical, based on how these ingredients work rather than solid human studies. Still, given the quality concerns with these supplements, I'd skip it and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
