Tivozanib Hydrochloride falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Acacia Rigidula interacts with.

Theoretically, Acacia rigidula products that are adulterated with beta-methylphenylethylamine (BMPEA) might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, inhibits CYP3A4 enzyme by 37%.

Here's the concern with pairing an Acacia rigidula product with your tivozanib (Fotivda). Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break tivozanib down and keep its levels in check. Some Acacia rigidula supplements have been found tainted with a stimulant called BMPEA, and lab studies suggest BMPEA can slow that same enzyme down a bit. If it does, tivozanib could clear more slowly and build up, which may bump up its side effects like high blood pressure, fatigue, diarrhea, mouth sores, or hand-foot skin reactions.

I'll be honest: this is theoretical and based only on test-tube data, so we don't know how strong it would be in real life. Still, tivozanib is a serious cancer drug, and these products are risky on their own. Please check with your oncologist or pharmacist before using anything containing it.
