This combination product is partly an antacid, since it pairs aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide to soothe heartburn (along with aspirin for pain and codeine for stronger pain relief). The interaction on file is about that antacid piece. There are a few scattered reports that Alpinia (lesser galangal) may nudge stomach acid upward, which could, in theory, work against the acid-neutralizing job of the aluminum and magnesium part. So you might notice your heartburn or upset stomach is not quite as well controlled.

Honestly, this is a minor, mostly theoretical concern based on weak, anecdotal evidence, and small amounts used in cooking are unlikely to matter. Concentrated Alpinia supplements are a different story. If you take this regularly for stomach relief, just mention the supplement to your pharmacist or doctor first.
