Andarine + Ramipril
Ramipril brand name: Altace.
We found no known interaction between Andarine and Ramipril in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first. Additionally, although there is no interaction, the two are separately associated with some of the same side effects, which would make a new symptom harder to attribute to one or the other.
Andarine and Ramipril
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Ramipril and Andarine in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

Why No Interaction Is Listed for Ramipril
Interactions in our licensed database are recorded against drug classes, not just single drug names. Ramipril is filed under 5 classifications — including ace inhibitors (aceis), antihypertensive drugs, nephrotoxic drugs. Andarine has documented interactions with 1 drug class — the most serious being androgens (moderate) — and none of Ramipril’s classifications are among them.
Classification data comes from our licensed Natural Medicines dataset. A medication can belong to classes beyond those recorded there, so this describes how the check was run — it is not a safety guarantee.
Andarine Does Interact With Other Medications
Andarine has 9 moderate known drug interactions in our database — Ramipril isn’t one of them. If you take anything else, check it against the full list below.

Questions About Andarine or Ramipril
These are real questions from readers, answered by the pharmacists at HelloPharmacist — written by a person, not generated from a database. Each one covers Andarine or Ramipril, not necessarily both, but if one is close to what you were about to ask it will usually go further than a database entry can:

This page covers Andarine only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Ramipril page lists 149 supplements it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.
The most serious there right now: Activated Charcoal (major), American Hellebore (major), American Mistletoe (major), Asarabacca (major) and Siberian Cocklebur (major).
By severity: 6 major · 119 moderate · 24 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ramipril page
“Ramipril (Altace) is an ACE inhibitor for high blood pressure and heart protection, and its supplement list is one I would treat with real seriousness. Most interacting ingredients either deepen its pressure-lowering effect or push back against it, so readings can drift too low or creep back up.”

- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Andarine
What is Andarine?
- Muscle building
- Strength gains
- Fat loss / body recomposition
- Athletic performance enhancement
- Bone density support
Andarine (S-4) is a synthetic selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that is not approved by the FDA for human use and is banned in sports. It is not a legal dietary supplement ingredient, its long-term safety in people is unknown, and reported side effects include vision changes and possible liver and hormone problems. Because of these risks and its illegal status, we do not recommend using it.
Not applicable (synthetic chemical compound) · Capsules, tablets, liquid solutions (sold as research chemicals)
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Andarine is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Andarine record says about it on its own.
Andarine: dosing
There is no established or approved dose for Andarine because it is not a recognized medicine or legal supplement. We cannot recommend a safe dose, and doses circulated online are not backed by proper human research.Given that it is unapproved, potentially unsafe, and illegal to sell as a supplement, the safest choice is not to use it at all.

About Ramipril
What Is Ramipril Used For?
Brand name: Altace
Ramipril capsules are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), either alone or combined with a thiazide diuretic (water pill). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.
In adults 55 and older at high cardiovascular risk, ramipril capsules are used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, or death from cardiovascular causes. Ramipril capsules are also used in stable patients who develop signs of heart failure within the first days after a heart attack, to lower the risk of death and hospitalization related to heart failure.
Most-Reported Side Effects for Ramipril
From FAERS, the FDA’s public side-effect reporting system (123,139 reports, all brands). Reports are voluntary and are not proof the drug caused the effect.

Ramipril Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Ramipril as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Andarine — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
