Amitriptyline, Perphenazine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C19 (CYP2C19) SUBSTRATES — the group Artichoke interacts with.

Theoretically, artichoke might increase serum levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C19.
In vitro research shows that artichoke leaf extract inhibits CYP2C19 activity. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

This combination pill pairs amitriptyline (a tricyclic antidepressant) with perphenazine (an antipsychotic). The concern here is mild and mostly on paper. Lab studies suggest artichoke leaf extract can slow down an enzyme called CYP2C19, which is one of the pathways your body uses to break down amitriptyline. If that pathway slows, a little more of the drug could linger in your system.

In theory, that might bump up the usual amitriptyline side effects, things like drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, or feeling lightheaded when you stand up. But this has only been seen in test-tube research, never confirmed in real people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Eating artichoke as food is very unlikely to matter. If you take a concentrated extract daily, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on how you feel.
