Hydrochlorothiazide, Pindolol falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Artichoke interacts with.

Theoretically, artichoke leaf extract may increase the risk of hypotension when taken with antihypertensive drugs.
A meta-analysis of small clinical studies in patients with hypertension shows that taking artichoke can reduce systolic blood pressure by around 3 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure by around 2 mmHg when compared with placebo.

Your Viskazide combines two blood pressure medicines: hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill) and pindolol (a beta blocker). Both work to bring your blood pressure down. Artichoke leaf extract may have a very mild blood pressure lowering effect of its own, so in theory, stacking it on top of your medication could nudge your numbers a little lower than expected.

If your pressure dips too far, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, tired, or shaky when standing up quickly. To be clear, this is a theoretical concern based on how these things work, and artichoke's effect in studies was small (only a few points). Most people do fine, but if you take the supplement regularly, keep an eye on how you feel and check in with your pharmacist or doctor first.
