Glyburide, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Bael interacts with.

Evidence from animal research suggests that extracts of bael seed and leaf can reduce blood glucose levels. Theoretically, bael might have additive effects with antidiabetes drugs and increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Dose adjustments might be necessary.
Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the gist with Glucovance (glyburide plus metformin) and bael. Both of these medicines already work to bring your blood sugar down. Bael, going back to its traditional use, may also nudge blood sugar lower. So the worry is simple addition: two things pushing in the same direction could drop your sugar too far. With glyburide especially, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) is a real risk, and you might feel shaky, sweaty, dizzy, confused, or unusually hungry.

That said, I want to be honest about the evidence. This is based only on animal and lab studies, not people, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Eating bael as a food is unlikely to be an issue. If you're considering concentrated bael supplements, check with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on your glucose readings.
