There is some concern that electroencephalogram (EEG) biofeedback might lower the seizure threshold in some patients. Theoretically, combining EEG biofeedback with seizure threshold-lowering drugs might increase the risk of seizure.
Some drugs that lower the seizure threshold include anesthetics (propofol, others), antiarrhythmics (mexiletine), antibiotics (amphotericin, penicillin, cephalosporins, imipenem), antidepressants (bupropion, others), antihistamines (cyproheptadine, others), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine), narcotics (fentanyl, others), stimulants (methylphenidate), theophylline, and others.

Here's the connection worth knowing about. Chloroquine (and to a lesser extent primaquine) can occasionally lower the seizure threshold, meaning it can make the brain a bit more prone to seizures in people who are already susceptible. There's a theoretical concern that EEG biofeedback (the kind that trains brainwave patterns) might also nudge that threshold lower in certain individuals. Put the two together and, in theory, you could slightly raise seizure risk.

I want to be honest: this is a cautious, theoretical worry, not something proven to commonly happen with this drug. Most people using biofeedback for headaches, stress, or pelvic issues won't run into trouble. Still, if you have a seizure history or feel unusually jittery, mention it to your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
