Glyburide, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Black Mulberry interacts with.

Theoretically, black mulberry leaf might increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetes drugs.
One small clinical study shows that black mulberry leaf extract has hypoglycemic effects. This is supported by in vitro research which also suggests that constituents in black mulberry twigs and leaves might have hypoglycemic effects.

Here's the gist: your Glucovance already lowers blood sugar (the glyburide part nudges your body to release more insulin, and metformin helps your cells use sugar better). Black mulberry leaf may have its own mild blood-sugar-lowering action, mostly from a compound called DNJ that slows how you absorb carbs. Stack the two together and, in theory, your sugar could dip too low.

Honestly, this is a theoretical concern based on how mulberry works plus one small study, so don't panic. Eating mulberries as fruit is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated leaf extracts are the bigger question mark. If you ever take one, watch for shakiness, sweating, or dizziness, and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
