Amphotericin B falls under ANTIFUNGALS — the group Brewer's Yeast interacts with.

Theoretically, taking antifungals with some brewer's yeast products might decrease the effectiveness of brewer's yeast.
Some brewer's yeast products contain live yeast. Therefore, simultaneously taking antifungals might kill a significant number of the organisms.

Here's the thing to keep straight: this interaction works in one direction only, and it actually goes against the brewer's yeast, not your medication. Amphotericin B is a powerful antifungal, and brewer's yeast is a live fungus (Saccharomyces). So if you took a live-yeast product while on amphotericin B, the drug could simply kill off some of that yeast, making the supplement less useful. Your amphotericin B treatment itself is not weakened or made riskier by the yeast.

This is a theoretical concern based on how these two work, rated minor, so it's not something to panic over. Still, since amphotericin B is reserved for serious fungal infections and live yeast can occasionally cause problems in people with weakened immune systems, I'd skip the brewer's yeast while you're being treated and check with your doctor or pharmacist first.
