Haloprogin falls under ANTIFUNGALS — the group Brewer's Yeast interacts with.

Here's the good news on this pairing: the concern runs in one direction only, and it's a mild one. Haloprogin is an old-school topical antifungal cream you rub on the skin to treat things like athlete's foot and ringworm. It works right where you apply it and barely gets into your body. So Haloprogin won't change how your medicine treats your infection.

The theoretical worry is the reverse: some brewer's yeast supplements contain live yeast organisms, and antifungals are designed to kill yeast and fungi. In theory, taking them together could knock down some of those live cultures and make the supplement less effective. In practice, with a cream that stays on your skin, this is unlikely to matter much. If you take a live-yeast product regularly, just run it by your pharmacist to be safe.
