Bromfenac Sodium falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Canadian Fleabane interacts with.

Theoretically, Canadian fleabane might cause additive effects and side effects when used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs. Canadian fleabane has been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation in vitro.
Some anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: Bromfenac (Prolensa, Bromsite) is an NSAID, and NSAIDs can have a mild effect on platelets, the tiny cells that help your blood clot. In test-tube studies, Canadian fleabane has also shown it can slow platelets down. So on paper, using the two together might add up to a slightly higher bleeding tendency.

That said, this is theoretical and based on lab work, not real patient cases. Bromfenac is given as eye drops for swelling and pain after cataract surgery, so very little reaches your bloodstream. The main thing to watch for would be extra irritation, redness, or unusual bleeding around the eye. To be safe, mention the fleabane to your pharmacist or eye doctor before and after surgery.
