Polythiazide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Cannabigerol (cbg) interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cannabigerol with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research shows that an intraperitoneal injection of cannabigerol lowers blood pressure. The mechanism of action may be related to alpha-2-adrenoreceptor activity. The effect of oral intake of cannabigerol is unclear and this has not been shown in humans.

Polythiazide (Renese) is a water pill that lowers blood pressure by helping your body get rid of extra salt and fluid. The concern here is simple: CBG might also nudge your blood pressure down a little. Put the two together and, in theory, your pressure could dip lower than intended, leaving you feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or woozy when you stand up.

I want to be honest about how thin this evidence is. The blood-pressure drop was only seen when CBG was injected into animals, not taken by mouth in people, so we really don't know if oral CBG does anything similar in humans. It's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding CBG, but please don't change your polythiazide on your own.
