Propranolol falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Cannabigerol (cbg) interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cannabigerol with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research shows that an intraperitoneal injection of cannabigerol lowers blood pressure. The mechanism of action may be related to alpha-2-adrenoreceptor activity. The effect of oral intake of cannabigerol is unclear and this has not been shown in humans.

Here's the gist with propranolol and CBG. Propranolol already lowers your blood pressure and slows your heart rate. CBG might nudge blood pressure down too, so stacking the two could, in theory, push things a little too low. If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or like you could faint, especially when standing up quickly.

I want to be honest about the evidence though: this comes from animal studies using injections, not people, and we don't even know if CBG taken by mouth has the same effect. So this is a theoretical concern, not something proven in humans. Still, if you take propranolol and want to try CBG, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first, and keep an eye on how you feel.

What Is Propranolol (Cardiovascular) Used For?

Brand names: Inderal LA, Inderal, Angilol, Syprol, Inderal Injection, Half-Inderal LA, Bedranol SR, Half Beta Prograne, Beta Prograne, Lopranol LA, Slo-Pro, InnoPran XL

This intravenous (IV) form of propranolol is used in hospital or clinical settings to treat dangerous heart rhythm problems. It is generally reserved for life-threatening arrhythmias (abnormal heart rhythms) or those that occur during anesthesia.

Specific conditions it treats include fast heart rates coming from the upper chambers of the heart (supraventricular tachycardia), certain arrhythmias caused by digitalis toxicity, dangerous ventricular rhythms that haven't responded to other treatments, and fast heart rates caused by excess adrenaline-like substances during surgery.
