Terazosin falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Cannabigerol (cbg) interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cannabigerol with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research shows that an intraperitoneal injection of cannabigerol lowers blood pressure. The mechanism of action may be related to alpha-2-adrenoreceptor activity. The effect of oral intake of cannabigerol is unclear and this has not been shown in humans.

Here's the gist with terazosin and CBG. Terazosin is an alpha-blocker that lowers blood pressure by relaxing your blood vessels, and it already has a reputation for causing dizziness, lightheadedness, or even fainting, especially with your first doses or when you stand up quickly (that's called orthostatic hypotension). In animal studies, CBG also nudged blood pressure down, possibly by touching some of the same adrenergic pathways. So in theory, pairing the two could stack those blood-pressure-lowering effects and leave you feeling woozy.

I want to be straight with you though: this is based on lab and animal data only, and we don't know if oral CBG does this in people. It's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and stand up slowly if you do.

What Is Terazosin Used For?

Brand names: Hytrin, Terazosin

Terazosin capsules and Tezruly oral solution are both used to relieve the urinary symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) — the enlarged prostate condition that causes trouble urinating — in adult males. They are also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), either alone or combined with other blood pressure medicines.

Lowering blood pressure with terazosin reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events, including strokes and heart attacks. Tezruly (the oral solution) may be used alone or alongside other antihypertensive agents for hypertension.
