Torsemide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Cannabigerol (cbg) interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cannabigerol with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research shows that an intraperitoneal injection of cannabigerol lowers blood pressure. The mechanism of action may be related to alpha-2-adrenoreceptor activity. The effect of oral intake of cannabigerol is unclear and this has not been shown in humans.

Here's the gist: torsemide is a water pill that already lowers blood pressure by pulling extra fluid and salt out through your urine. The concern is that CBG might add a little extra blood-pressure-lowering effect on top of it, so the two together could theoretically push your pressure down too far.

I want to be honest about how thin the evidence is, though. This comes from animal studies using injected CBG, not oral capsules in people. We genuinely don't know if swallowing a CBG supplement does the same thing. If you do combine them, just watch for signs of low pressure like dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, or feeling unusually weak or faint, since torsemide can already cause those. Before adding CBG, run it by your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your numbers.

What Is Torsemide Used For?

Brand names: Demadex, Soaanz

Torsemide tablets are used to treat edema — excess fluid buildup causing swelling — associated with heart failure, renal disease, or hepatic disease. Removing that extra fluid can relieve swelling and make breathing easier.

Torsemide tablets are also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events, including strokes and heart attacks. It can be used alone or alongside other blood pressure medications.
