Insulin (Pork) falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Clove interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of clove extracts with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Clinical and laboratory research suggest that polyphenol extracts from clove flower buds might lower blood glucose levels. Dosing adjustments for insulin or oral hypoglycemic agents may be necessary when taken with clove. Monitor blood glucose levels closely.

Here's the gist: pork insulin already lowers your blood sugar, and there's some early lab and clinical research hinting that concentrated clove extracts may nudge blood sugar down a little too. Stack them together and, in theory, you could drift lower than you planned. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded, the usual warning signs of a low.

I want to keep this in perspective, though. This concern is theoretical, based on how clove behaves, not on strong human studies. Using clove as a spice in your food is very unlikely to cause trouble. The caution is really about concentrated clove oil or supplement doses. If you want to use those regularly, check your sugars more closely and chat with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
