Diroximel Fumarate falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Comfrey interacts with.

Theoretically, comfrey might have additive adverse effects on the liver when used with hepatotoxic drugs.
Due to its pyrrolizidine alkaloid constituents, comfrey can cause hepatotoxic effects, including ascites, cirrhosis, hepatic fibrosis, hepatomegaly, and sinusoidal obstruction syndrome.

Here's the concern with pairing comfrey and Vumerity (diroximel fumarate). This isn't about one changing how the other is broken down. Instead, both can be hard on the same organ: your liver. Comfrey contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids that can genuinely harm liver tissue, which is why it should never be swallowed and only used briefly on intact skin. Vumerity can also occasionally raise liver enzymes, so stacking the two could, in theory, add up to more liver stress.

To be fair, this is a theoretical caution based on how each acts, not proven cases of the combination together. Still, watch for warning signs like yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, or unusual tiredness, and check with your doctor or pharmacist before using comfrey.
