This combination product contains aspirin, which already thins your blood a little by keeping platelets from sticking together. The concern here is the aspirin piece. In lab studies, DMSO also seemed to slow down platelets, so stacking the two could, in theory, add up to a bit more bleeding tendency than either alone.

What might that look like in real life? Easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or stomach upset and dark stools from the aspirin side. To be clear, this is a theoretical worry based only on test-tube data, not strong human studies, so I don't want you to panic. Still, since DMSO can also carry chemicals through the skin, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them.
