Glipizide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Dragon Fruit interacts with.

Dragon fruit might lower blood glucose levels. Theoretically, it might have additive effects when used with antidiabetes drugs. This might increase the risk of hypoglycemia in some patients. Dose adjustments to diabetes medications might be necessary.
Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, metformin (Glucophage), pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the deal with these two together: glipizide already works hard to lower your blood sugar by nudging your pancreas to release more insulin. Dragon fruit may have a mild blood sugar lowering effect of its own, so stacking them could push your numbers a little lower than expected. The concern is hypoglycemia, which can show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, confusion, or feeling suddenly very hungry.

That said, this is a moderate, possible interaction based on lower quality evidence, so don't panic. Enjoying dragon fruit as an everyday fruit is unlikely to cause trouble for most folks. Concentrated extracts or large supplement doses are where I'd be more cautious. Keep an eye on your glucose readings, and chat with your pharmacist or doctor before starting any dragon fruit supplement.
